Programs and Services: This page explains the goals and levels of professional development offered by the WIDA Consortium. It also contains a "menu" of the WIDA professional development workshop, presentation, and course offerings, along with descriptions of each of them.

WIDA Consultants: WIDA collaborates with several consultants in order to meet the professional development needs of our geographically broad consortium. These individuals are well-versed in WIDA's goals, products and services, and have undergone training to adhere to a specific style of presentation endorsed by WIDA. This page includes contact information, photos, and a brief biography for each of our professional development consultants.

Request Form: This automated form allows Consortium members to make a documented inquiry about arranging a professional development opportunity for their school, district, or state educational agency (SEA). A copy of the form will be sent to Mariana Castro (the WIDA Professional Development Coordinator), and the individual making the request for his or her record-keeping purposes.

PD Resources: Contains multimedia presentations, recommended literature, and other tools or tips related to the professional development of educators of English Language Learners.
